Friendship Village Center, Schaumburg, IL

Friendship Center is the cornerstone of the redevelopment Master Plan for Friendship Village, a 600-unit continuing care retirement community. Designed as an independent facility to support the spiritual, conferencing and assembly needs of Friendship Village community, it integrates into the first floor of the communal spaces of Bridgewater Place residential tower, sharing a common entry and lobby. Friendship Center seeks its own identity by incorporating contrasting building materials with the housing architecture found on the campus.
