About This Project

In 2021, St. Paul Parish in Olathe, Kansas (Archdiocese of Kansas City, KS) commissioned JNKA to develop a 77,000 s.f. long-range Master Plan design of a new 1300-seat, traditional Catholic church, with new parish offices, kitchen and parish hall below the church, an enclosed courtyard (inspired by the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls in Rome) between the existing school and church, and new preschool classrooms, gymnasium, Catechesis of the Good Shephard atrium, and Youth Room. In 2024, JNKA completed the design and construction documents for the Phase 1 church and tower-level offices and parish hall. The bids came in on-budget and construction began in Fall of 2024, with the completion expected in June of 2026, including all the liturgical art and furnishings.
