Elizabeth Susco,

B. Arch

President and Director of Design

Elizabeth Susco joined JNKA as a Student Intern in the summer of 2019, after completing a year studying abroad in Rome through the University of Notre Dame’s Rome Studies Program. During this time she developed her sketching skills and gained a greater understanding of churches and public spaces by studying the greatest examples in Rome and throughout Italy. Upon returning to Notre Dame, Elizabeth completed her thesis project, designing a new public library for her hometown of Plainfield, Illinois. Through her research she addressed the changing demands on public architecture and proposed solutions for her community. Elizabeth became a permanent JNKA team member after graduating in 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and a Minor in Theology.
